The mission has started. We proudly announce that we are starting the ramp up of our own cell manufacturing in Valencia. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations. 

The Standards, Technics and Engineering Expert in the Maintenance Department is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining technical standards, engineering processes, and maintenance strategies.

This role focuses on ensuring operational reliability, compliance with industry and internal standards, and continuous improvement in maintenance operations. The position requires technical expertise, a strong analytical mindset, and proficiency in modern maintenance tools and CMMS, SAP and MES.

  • Development and Implementation of Standards.
  • Engineering Support with developing documentation.
  • Documentation and Process Control  within mantanance scope
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation of the processes and equipment.
  • Lead initiatives to implement best practices, such as predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, and cost optimization.
  • Ensuring all mantainance activities are complying with relevant occupational health and safety standards in the organization.
  • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
  • Work on a 24/7 shift model following the factory working calendar and applicable shift rotation strategies according to the constraints of the production process.
  
 
What you need for our CELLebration
  • Higher technical education (e.g., mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or related fields).
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar maintenance and engineering management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance methodologies (e.g., TPM, RCM) and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with occupational health and safety regulations in Spain.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
  
 
What else can you bring
  • Please submit your CV in English.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel occasionally, including trips to China. 
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken) is required. Knowledge of Chinese is considered an advantage.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, maintenance, or technical roles within an industrial environment.
