Who we are

The mission has started. We proudly announce that we are starting the ramp up of our own cell manufacturing in Valencia. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations

  
 
Your role and key responsibilities

The role supports the implementation of digital solutions that improve efficiency, data transparency, and decision-making across operations. As part of a dynamic team, you’ll gain experience in areas such as IoT, automation, data analytics, digital workflows, and smart manufacturing, while helping to drive the company's journey toward digital maturity.

The Digital VSM will be the SPOC for a specific part of the production process. This involves machine connectivity, traceability, KPIs and dashboards and SW rollout in that area, coordinating all necessary stakeholders.
He will be the link between the local processee and the Global Digitalization SW rollout projects.

  
 
What you bring to the team

Responsibilities:

1. Coordination of all end-to-end digitalization tasks within his/her process area.

2. Act as single point of contact both ways providing detailed information ensuring quick and efficient communication channels.

3. Having broad understanding about the digitalization landscape, being able to explain capabilities and limitations of each solution.

4. Coordinates OG-C contractors on the shopfloor, e.g. for End to end shop floor testing.

5. Executes  FAT and SAT for OG-C, incl. Travel to suppliers

6. Support Digital Projects: Assist in the rollout of digital tools and technologies (e.g., sensors, dashboards, mobile apps).Participate in project activities like testing, documentation, and deployment.Help coordinate with internal departments (production, quality, maintenance, etc.) to gather requirements.

7. Data Collection and Visualization: Collect and clean data from machines, systems, or digital platforms.Create simple reports or dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.Support data validation and performance tracking for digital KPIs.

8. Process Mapping and Optimization: Help document current processes to identify digital improvement opportunities.Assist in process redesign under the guidance of senior team members.Support the implementation of paperless workflows or task automation.

9. Training and User Support: Provide first-level support for digital tools used in operations. Assist in creating user manuals, training materials, or onboarding sessions.Gather user feedback and help report bugs or improvement needs.

10. Learning and Development:Participate in training related to Industry 4.0, digital platforms, and project management.Stay updated on trends and best practices in digitalization.Take part in innovation workshops, pilot projects, and improvement events.

  
 
What makes you stand out
  • 4+ years experience in battery sector.   
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering,IT Engineering, or a related field.
