Communication goals & strategic approach
- Support the development and execution of the corporate communication strategy: Craft communication plans that support business objectives, increase brand visibility, and strengthen stakeholder relationships.
- Definition of key messages based in the communication strategy about mission, values, goals, and achievements regarding the project progress and business development to the external audience. i.e.: annual reports, sustainability reports, and other strategic corporate literature.
Identification, planning, coordination and execution of external communication actions
- Content Creation: Draft and edit press releases, speeches, intranet posts, social media content, and newsletters to ensure consistent and effective messaging.
- Event Coordination: Oversee corporate events, such as press conferences, leadership summits, job fairs, and other public engagements to ensure clear and impactful communication.
- Brand Positioning: Ensure consistent and strategic brand messaging across all communication platforms, helping to position the company as a leader in its industry.
- Management of all external actions, activities and campaigns to position and enhance PowerCo’s public image and brand, such as but not limited to exhibitions, awareness campaigns, product presentations, industrial and technical info-sessions, media appearances of key executives and spokespersons etc.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with key internal and external stakeholders, including investors, employees, media, government bodies, and the general public to build positive relationships and ensure alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
Communication channels
- Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, handle media inquiries, and pitch stories to ensure positive coverage of the company’s initiatives and achievements.
- Daily management of the organization's external communication channels, including the website, social media, and press releases to enhance PowerCo´s public image and brand.
Media and market monitoring
- Reputation Management: Monitor public perception, handle reputation risks, and manage crisis communications when necessary to protect and enhance the company’s reputation.
- Regularly monitor a variety of media channels, including newspapers, magazines, online news sources, social media, blogs, and broadcast outlets.
- Use media monitoring tools and services to automate the tracking process and gather comprehensive data and deliver initiatives.
- Surveillance and monitor industry trends, competitors and technologies.
- Report and inform to update communication strategies and messages to keep goals, strategy and messages updated and consistent.
Measurement and analysis
- Evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and actions. Use data and feedback to perform improvements in communication efforts and correct deviations.
Processes and procedures
- Definition, validation and documentation of communication processes and workflows aligned with PowerCo SE i.e. clearance check, crisis response, compliance validation, budget approval etc.
- Local responsibility over the P26 for Communication clearance process.
