How you will CELLebrate

Ensure the operational safety, stability, and regulatory compliance of Clean and Dry Room systems and Battery Specific Infrastructure (BSI) through the execution of preventive, corrective, and continuous improvement maintenance tasks. This role supports production uptime and contributes to readiness for audits under applicable standards such as VDA 6.3, IATF 16949, and ISO 9001.

Key Responsibility Areas
1. Maintenance of Controlled Environments and Infrastructure
 • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, filtration, and environmental control systems serving controlled production areas.
 • Monitor key environmental parameters (temperature, humidity, dew point) as defined by technical specifications.
 • Ensure operational stability of production areas designed to comply with ISO cleanroom standards (según normativa ISO – salas limpias).
 • Apply behavior and gowning protocols (normas de vestimenta y comportamiento en sala limpia) specific to Clean and Dry Room zones.
 • Support qualification and requalification processes for controlled environments (recalificación de salas limpias).
2. Battery Specific Infrastructure (BSI) (Infraestructura Específica de Baterías)
 • Perform maintenance on process media systems such as electrolyte piping, technical vacuum, solvent distribution, nitrogen, dry air, and recovery systems.
 • Monitor and service safety-related infrastructure: gas detection systems, ATEX ventilation, inerting, and COV extraction.
 • Provide support during ramp-up, modification, or commissioning of BSI systems (puesta en marcha de sistemas de medios de proceso).
 • Ensure proper recording and traceability of all interventions in technical areas using the maintenance system (CMMS / GMAO).
3. Documentation & CMMS (GMAO – Gestión de Mantenimiento Asistida por Ordenador)
 • Log maintenance activities, time, materials, and status in SAP PM or an equivalent system.
 • Maintain documentation traceability for internal/external audits (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3).
 • Support standardization and optimization of maintenance documentation and workflows.
4. Spare Parts & Inventory Handling (Gestión de Repuestos y Almacén Técnico)
 • Request and return spare parts according to MRO warehouse protocols (almacén MRO).
 • Report stock deviations, missing items, or material defects to logistics.
 • Ensure compliance with 5S standards and technical storage safety.
5. Operational Support & Shift Communication (Soporte a Producción y Comunicación en Turno)
 • Support production and shift teams during process alarms or infrastructure deviations.
 • Act as a technical contact point during escalations.
 • Cooperate with production, EHS (Prevención de Riesgos Laborales), automation, and engineering teams.
6. Health, Safety & Legal Compliance
 • Work in compliance with Spanish occupational safety regulations (Ley 31/1995 de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales) and electrical safety (REBT – Reglamento Electrotécnico de Baja Tensión).
 • Apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space, ATEX, and working-at-height protocols (trabajo en altura, espacios confinados, zonas clasificadas ATEX).
 • Use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE / EPI) based on assessed risks.
 • Participate in emergency drills (simulacros), risk assessments, and safety inspections.
 • Immediately report any unsafe conditions, near misses (casi accidentes), or incidents.
7. Continuous Improvement & Quality Contribution
 • Suggest technical improvements to increase system reliability, safety, and energy efficiency.
 • Support continuous improvement initiatives (TPM, 5S, Kaizen).
 • Contribute to maintenance excellence under VDA 6.3, IATF 16949, and ISO 9001 frameworks.
 • Support the onboarding and technical upskilling of new technicians.

Profile Requirements
Educational Background (Formación Académica)
 • Vocational qualification (Grado Medio or Grado Superior) in Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Industrial Installations, or HVAC.
 • Mandatory PRL training: minimum 20h general + role-specific risk training (formación mínima PRL según el Convenio Químico).
 • Additional training in cleanroom behavior, ATEX awareness, or SCADA/BMS systems is valued.
Experience
 • Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance roles within regulated or controlled environments.
 • Experience in battery, chemical, pharmaceutical, or high-tech industries is preferred.
Technical Competencies
 • Maintenance of HVAC, process gas and liquid systems, environmental control, and safety infrastructure.
 • Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics, P&IDs, and layout diagrams.
 • Familiarity with CMMS (SAP PM), SCADA/BMS interfaces, and audit-compliant documentation.
Soft Skills
 • Responsibility, organization, and teamwork.
 • Clear communication across shifts and departments.
 • Analytical mindset and discipline under pressure.

Working Conditions (Condiciones de Trabajo)
 • Rotating shift schedule (trabajo a turnos), including weekends and holidays, as defined in the applicable collective agreement.
 • Work in cleanroom environments and battery-specific technical areas.
 • Exposure to hazardous substances, process gases, and ATEX-classified installations.
 • Physical activity may include climbing, lifting, and confined space access.
Compliance with ergonomic and safety rules defined under the Convenio Colectivo Estatal de la Industria Química and Estatuto de los Trabajadores is mandatory.

    Full compliance with Estatuto de los Trabajadores and Convenio Colectivo Estatal de la Industria Química is mandatory
