Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations

  
 
About the Role
  • Engineer will collaborate with various departments to improve safety performance, minimize financial losses, and enhance overall operational resilience.
  • Support to the HSE department in Conduction of accident and incident investigations, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions, and oversee and implement the Management of Change (MoC) process to ensure safety and compliance during operational changes.
  • Simulate potential accident consequences using tools such as PHAST or similar software.
  • Provide expert advice on process safety for plant expansions, construction projects, and modifications.
  • Perform and interpret HAZOP, Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA), and other safety assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with ATEX regulations and perform fire and explosion risk analyses.
  • Support and review industrial risks related to fire prevention and associated hazards.
  • Analyze potential failure modes and their impact on company operations.
  • Assist in evaluations of fire risk assessments, in production processes, construction elements, and operating procedures.
  • Estimate potential losses and provide technical safety advice. Contribute to safety in design, inspection, and improvement plans for operational processes.
  • Review safety management procedures and prepare comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations.
  
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Fluent level of English and Spanish Strong expertise in process safety and industrial risk prevention.
  • Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or other)
  • + years of experience
  • In-depth knowledge of ATEX classification and fire safety standards.
  • Proven experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing safety improvements.
  • Capacity to evaluate fire risks, operating procedures, and construction elements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while demonstrating initiative and independence.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards.
