The mission has started. We proudly announce that we are initiating the ramp-up of our own cell manufacturing in Valencia. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient and sustainable logistics practices, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and steering our supply chain towards peak performance.
As Logistic Audit and Risk Management Expert, you will lead the internal audit process to ensure the integrity and compliance of activities within our logistics operations. You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring adherence to internal controls, safety standards, and ISO requirements, and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain. This role involves working cross-functionally to monitor performance, implement corrective actions, and support strategic decision-making, contributing directly to a culture of operational excellence, transparency, and accountability.
You will provide direct support to the Director of Logistics, in terms of information management, compliance, and monitoring of various tasks, management of management meetings, staff, support in managing special visits, events related to Logistics, and management presentations.

Your role and key responsibilities
|
- Coordinate and conduct internal audits of logistics processes, including preparation, documentation, and follow-up of corrective actions. Responsible for the formalization of the documentation in the Q System and Committees.
- Ensure and coordinate the participation of area representatives in internal and external system audits. Monitor and report on the implementation and progress of corrective actions resulting from these audits.
- Coordinate audits and performance evaluations of material suppliers (supply chain management), as well as transport and logistics service providers.
- Design, implement, and review internal controls to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee compliance with workplace safety standards, ISO regulations, and internal policies.
- Coordinate the logistics risk management system, including continuous updates to the risk map. Guide the process to assess and mitigate the operational, financial, regulatory, and safety risks across the logistics chain. Coordinate the identification of systemic risks, along with their corresponding preventive countermeasures.
- Analyze operational and audit data to detect deviations, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Coordinate the lesson learned process within the Logistics department.
- Coordinate the training plan and talent program within the Logistics department.
- Prepare executive reports on audit findings, risk status, and compliance performance.
- Manage administrative procedures related to Logistics Managers.
- Provide direct support to the Director of Logistics in areas such as information management, compliance oversight, task monitoring, coordination of management meetings and staff, and assistance with special visits, logistics-related events, and management presentations.
- Monitor and control key performance indicators through the Business Cockpit and Logistics Dashboard.
- Ensure compliance and follow-up on various tasks assigned by the Directorate, including support for managerial functions and execution of administrative procedures.
- Collaborate with other VWM departments to implement process improvements and necessary adjustments to standards.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to internal control, safety, and risk management.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and compliance within the logistics team.

What you bring to the team
|
- Experience with ERP systems and audit management tools.
- Certification in internal auditing or risk management.
- Familiarity with lean logistics or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong presentation and stakeholder communication skills.
- Prior experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of environmental and sustainability compliance in logistics.
- Multilingual capabilities (especially English and German).
- Ability to manage multiple audits/projects simultaneously.
- Exposure to international logistics and customs compliance.
- Advanced Excel or data analytics skills (e.g., Power BI).
