Recruiting Process
1 Online Application+

Start your PowerCo journey by creating an account with your email and setting a password. The mandatory component of your application is your CV. However, we encourage you to consider providing additional application documents that help us to get to know you better as a person, such as a Cover Letter, educational certificates, or other relevant materials, if you choose to enhance your application.


The good news is, you have the flexibility to return to your application and make edits at any time. Simply log in to the career portal using your account credentials. There's no need to recreate your entire application every time.


Here's a valuable tip: Tailoring your CV to the specific position you're applying for can significantly increase your chances of standing out. Highlight your relevant skills and experience that align with the job requirements to make a strong impression. We look forward to receiving your application and getting to know you better. 2 Technical Interview+

You managed to get to the next round? Congrats! You will receive an invitation to our technical interview via email, which will typically be conducted online exclusively with the hiring department.


The technical interview is a critical part of our selection process, designed to assess your expertise and suitability for the position you've applied for. Our goal is to gain a comprehensive understanding of your abilities and potential fit within our team.


Here's a valuable tip: We recommend reviewing the job description and reflecting on your experiences before the interview to ensure you're well-prepared.

3 HR Interview+

Following a successful technical or professional interview, the next step in our recruitment process is an online interview with your recruiter. This interview is typically conducted online to accommodate your schedule.


In the HR interview, we invite you to introduce yourself, discuss your motivations, and share what sparked your interest in PowerCo. We'll ask questions about your career, personal development, and assess your personal qualities to discover your fit within the company.


Our conversation will revolve around your values, your approach to navigating complex situations, and your perspective on teamwork. We'll also evaluate your readiness to assume responsibility and your ability to embrace challenges. This interview is a chance for us to better understand you and ensure an alignment with our values, including the importance of Integrity, and our company culture.

4 Offer and Contract+

Are we a match? Shortly after your HR interview, we’ll inform you about our decision. If the result is positive and we could also win you for us, you’ll receive a call from your responsible recruiter to negotiate your salary and learn more about the benefits of work at PowerCo. You will also receive a contract draft to read through the offered conditions. If you accept the offer, it will be approved by our Management and Works Council and we’ll send you your final contract. Your recruiter will hand you over to the onboarding team, after you have signed the contract.

We offer car leasing options for employees who prefer to have their own vehicles. Additionally, for those commuting to our Salzgitter plant, we provide an employee shuttle service. This shuttle operates twice in the morning from Monday to Thursday, ensuring a stress-free and efficient commute between Braunschweig central station and our Salzgitter plant. What's more, it also runs twice in the afternoon, providing a convenient ride back from Salzgitter to Braunschweig.
