Series Planner Specialist

Your role and key responsibilities

The Specialist Series Planner acts as the subject matter expert for an assigned manufacturing process, supporting the implementation, commissioning, optimization, and standardization of production equipment and processes. The role works under the guidance of the Expert Series Planner and reports to the Area Manager, Series & Process Planning.

Key Responsibilities

Process Implementation & Optimization

  • Support the adaptation and implementation of local process regulations and standards.
  • Assist with equipment setup, commissioning, debugging, and ramp-up activities.
  • Optimize process performance, equipment functionality, and safety standards.
  • Support the implementation of process parameters and equipment modifications related to product changes.
  • Prepare and maintain process work instructions and operational documentation.

Equipment & Technical Coordination

  • Participate in technical reviews, machine development activities, and supplier meetings to ensure process requirements are met.
  • Support coordination between equipment suppliers and material suppliers during FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities.
  • Assist in equipment acceptance activities at supplier and plant sites.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Construction, Ramp-Up, HSE, Logistics, Quality, HR, Finance, Purchasing, and Product Management to ensure process alignment.
  • Support the definition and implementation of manufacturing standards for the Valencia factory.
  • Contribute to projects and initiatives driven by PowerCo headquarters.
  • Maintain collaboration and knowledge-sharing networks with other PowerCo plants.

Continuous Improvement & Digitalization

  • Support cost-reduction initiatives, including energy optimization, waste reduction, recycling, and material efficiency.
  • Assist with digitalization initiatives and IT system implementation within the assigned process area.
  
 
What you bring to the team
  • Bachelor´s degree in Engineering or equally valid to possess relevant professional experience in the battery industry.
  • More than 3 years experience in battery sector.   
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
