In this, the tasks and requirements of the unit Information Technology are varied. IT takes care all matters relating to information technology, i.e. electronic data processing. The responsibilities vary from IT-infrastructure to digitization of the organization to the operational use of electronic data processing throughout the organization.
How you will CELLebrate
As a Manufacturing IT Solutions Expert, you will be the architect of our production environment's systems framework, ensuring seamless integration and functionality of various IT applications critical to our operational success. You will leverage your expertise in MES, ERP, and logistics systems to enhance our manufacturing processes, aligning with our strategic focus on digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the integration and functionality of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) to optimize production efficiency.
- Ensure ERP (SAP S4 Hana) systems, excluding Finance, HR, and Procurement modules, are tailored to support maintenance and logistics operations.
- Manage the Gateway Project, coordinating with system providers and internal stakeholders.
- Supervise the implementation and maintenance of LFC (Logistics Fleet Control) systems to streamline fleet management.
- Direct HSE (Health Safety Environment) IT projects to uphold our commitment to safety and environmental standards.
- Guide the tendering process for system implementations across various IT projects, ensuring competitive and effective solutions.
- Lead the evaluation and selection of Project Management Tools, determining the best fit for our operational needs.
- Implement CAQ (Computer Aided Quality) systems to ensure product quality and compliance.
- Administer LIMS (Labour Information Management System) to enhance workforce management and operational efficiency.
- Ensure ShopFloor IT systems provide a robust foundation for all applications within the production environment.
- Strategize the development of a central control room for integrated operational oversight.
What you need for our CELLebration
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in systems management within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of MES, ERP (SAP), and CAQ systems.
- Excellent project management skills, including experience with tendering processes.
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, network systems, and industrial automation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Weekend Commitments: Availability for on-call duties during weekends is mandatory for this role.
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel as per business needs.
What else can you bring
- Certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or IT service management (ITIL).
- Previous experience in the automotive or energy sector.
- Multilingual capabilities.
