Logistics Production Planning and Control

The mission has started. We proudly announce that we are initiating the ramp-up of our own cell manufacturing in Valencia. At this crucial juncture, the Production Steering Expert is instrumental in orchestrating the integration and optimization of our logistics operations at PowerCo Spain. Your role will center on developing and maintaining a sophisticated logistics control tower, ensuring seamless coordination and maximum efficiency across our supply chain during both ramp-up and serial production phases.

  
 
About the Role

- Central Control Room (CCR) : key player on the implementation of a centralized space to monitor and manage the whole plant, focusing on process definition, systems requirements in collaboration of local areas and headquarters (HQ).

- Production Steering (Production Planning and Control) : Standardize processes and workflows with CCR and HQ, establishing clear guidelines and protocols for monitoring, controlling, reporting and escalations.

- Key performance indicators (KPIs) :  Participate in definition of KPIs for plant performance evaluation and monitoring, including mechanisms to track and identify areas for improvement.

- ERP and MES : Working closely with digitalization team to ensure efficient production planning, focusing on SAP PP module and MES activities.

- Training and onboarding : Participate in training programs local and abroad, to develop the “battery expertise” in the context of production planning.

  
 
Key Responsibilities
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, with a preference for a Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in logistics, with a strong foundation in logistics systems management including WMS, TMS, and control tower platforms.
  • Professional experience in the field of logistics program planning
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Proficiency in systems such as SAP PP.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights
  • Demonstrated ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive continuous improvement
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  
 
What you bring to the Team
  • Experience in project management and agile methodologies and tools is a plus
  • Data Analytics tools as PowerBI is a plus
  • Proven experience in leading the implementation and operation of logistics control tower systems within manufacturing or distribution environments.
  • Fluent in German is a plus
