Logistics Network & Equip. plan. & Disposition Expert (all genders)

The mission has started. We proudly announce that we are initiating the ramp-up of our own cell manufacturing in Valencia. In this crucial phase, the Logistics Network & Equip. plan. & Disposition Expert will play an integral role at PowerCo Spain by overseeing and optimizing the entire material flow process, ensuring seamless integration with our central logistics operations and high standards of safety and quality.

As a Logistics Network & Equip. plan. & Disposition Expert at PowerCo Spain, your role will involve:

• Supporting to Equipment logistics for VA plant 
• Managing of networking and agenda coordination with local authorities and internal coordination with communication department
• New last mile transport suppliers (incl. internal coordination with Legal Dept for NDA)
• Analyzing of HS classification for import purposes (for all non -EU materials)
• Creating the data analisys structure for the first tier suppliers´ network for the Inbound Logistics department
• Supporting for tendering Local (VA) transport companies and Framework agreements and oboarding Local (VA) transport companies
• Selecting of custom agent for PowerCo VA
• Supporting for materials Supplier Sourcing VA 
• Transporting related BNK adjustment
• Coordinating and working together with the Headquarter in Salzgitter, plant network (e.g. Salzgitter, St. Thomas (Canada))
• Coordination and working together with different department like HSE, HR, finance, purchasing, construction, manufacturing, quality, logistic, technic areas, legal from the requirement site as well for permission or legal requirement or contractual points
• Optimizing of VA local transport network and Lessons Learned gathering for process improvements
• Managing of Port special activities (inspections, damages etc) and contact point for local last mile Port-Factory deliveries incidences
• Managing of Customs related topics: Import documents control & customs clearance management

• A University degree in the field of logistics, economics or comparable qualification
• Professional experience in the field of logistics, preferably inbound and disposition
• Experience in dealing with external suppliers
• Technical expertise related to data analysis
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate effectively within environments of fluctuating priorities and occasional ambiguity
• A global mindset with a customer-driven approach, capable of building trust and fostering strong relationships
• Fluency in English and Spanish; German language skills are a significant plus

• Experience in battery production or cell manufacturing
• Independent ability to cooperate with various project partners across multiple domains
