How you will CELLebrate

As PowerCo's Legal Counsel Senior Expert, you will assume a critical leadership role, providing comprehensive legal support and guiding the company through the intricate landscapes of corporate law, contractual law, administrative/public law and civil law, as well as data protection and regulatory compliance. This senior position is designed for an experienced lawyer who thrives in navigating complex legal challenges and is passionate about driving significant impact within a dynamic corporate and international environment.

  
 
What you need for our CELLebration
  •  Offer high-level legal counsel on a broad spectrum of issues including corporate governance, advanced contract law, regulatory compliance, public and general legal matters, also with focus on data protection and privacy laws.
  • Lead the drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of complex contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with legal standards and the company’s strategic interests.
  • Oversee the company’s adherence to applicable laws and regulations, with an emphasis on international legal matters, particularly within English and German jurisdictions.
  • Ensuring compliance with GDPR and other relevant data privacy regulations, developing policies, and overseeing their implementation.
  • Collaborate with various departments to provide strategic legal advice on projects and business strategies, ensuring legal risks are identified and mitigated effectively.
  • Coordinate with external legal advisors and internal stakeholders, managing complex legal issues across international boundaries.

  • Demonstrates adaptability to shifting priorities and demands.
  • Please submit your CV in English
  • At least 5 years of legal practice in a prestigious law firm or an in-house legal department.
  • Law degree from a recognized university; further qualifications (e.g., master degree) are highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in English 
  • German language is highly desirable
