As the Labour Relations and Employment Law Expert, you will play a vital role in managing and directing labor relations and employment law matters within the region. This position involves strategic collaboration with our headquarters to develop effective labor relations frameworks and ensure legal compliance across all operations.
How you will CELLebrate
As a Labour Relations and Employment Law Expert at PowerCo, you will:
- Assist in the development and implementation of labor relations strategies that align with the company’s objectives and compliance requirements.
- Negotiate and maintain collective agreements, ensuring they adhere to local labor regulations and support the company's operational goals.
- Address both individual and collective labor law issues, contributing to the establishment of a legally compliant and effective operational framework.
- Act as a key liaison between management and the works council, fostering open and effective communication regarding labor law and personnel policy matters.
- Provide support in the conception and execution of collective bargaining strategies, offering legal advice on their interpretation and application.
- Offer legal assistance in managing disciplinary actions, terminations, and other critical employment-related matters.
- Participate in and contribute to HR projects related to labor relations, coordinating efforts with both national and international teams to ensure cohesive strategy implementation.
What you need for our CELLebration
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field, with a specialization in employment and labor law.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in labor relations and employment law, preferably within a multinational corporation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of current labor laws and practices, with an ability to apply them effectively in a corporate setting.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, capable of effectively managing relationships with unions, works councils, and other labor entities.
- Proven track record of successfully handling complex labor issues and contributing to the development of labor strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively across different cultures and geographies, understanding the nuances of international labor practices.
- Proficient in English (B2 level) and Spanish (native speaker).

- Additional certifications or training in labor law, mediation, or related fields.
- Experience in leading cross-functional HR projects with a focus on labor relations.
