Your role and key responsibilities

As the IT Production Applications Specialist at PowerCo, you will support the management and optimization of our industrial application landscape. Your technical expertise will contribute to the efficient implementation and usage of shopfloor devices needed for operation of our production applications systems, crucial for our ongoing success in the industry

  
 
What you bring to the team

Key Responsibilities

    • Support the management of critical online production systems & needed shopfloor devices to ensure continuous manufacturing operations.
    • Assist in the rollout, implementation, and upgrades of production applications & shopfloor devices ensuring alignment with business and technological advancements.
    • Collaborate with production and IT teams to develop effective IT solutions & shopfloor devices that enhance production efficiency.
    • Help integrate new technologies and systems such as Shopfloor, Siemens, Bosch, PLC, and WinCC into our production environment.
    • Assist in maintaining the stability, efficiency, and reliability of applications across manufacturing, logistics, maintenance, and quality domains.
    • Participate in change management processes related to system upgrades and implementations.
    • Support the strategic vision and direction for the IT production application area, aligning with PowerCo’s overall goals.
  
 
What makes you stand out
  • A minimum of 2 years in IT, preferably with experience in production systems within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree or FP in Computer Science, Information Systems, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
