IT Production Applications Expert (all genders)

The mission has started. We proudly announce that we are starting the ramp up of our own cell manufacturing in Valencia. In this, the tasks and requirements of the unit Information Technology are varied. IT takes care all matters relating to information technology, i.e. electronic data processing. The responsibilities vary from IT-infrastructure to digitization of the organization to the operational use of electronic data processing throughout the organization. 

Join PowerCo as our IT Production Applications Expert, a pivotal role focused on ensuring the optimal performance and availability of our critical production systems. You will play an instrumental part in ensuring continuous production operations, leveraging your comprehensive expertise in manufacturing, logistics, maintenance, quality, and more. Working in close collaboration with production teams, you'll drive successful application roll-outs, upgrades, and implement sustained system enhancements.
 

• Oversee the seamless operation and maintenance of critical online production systems to ensure continuous production.
• Actively manage the roll-out, implementation, and upgrades of production applications, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Work closely with production departments to grasp their requirements, translating these into effective IT solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in shopfloor technologies, systems, and devices, integrating these insights into the organization's IT strategy. This includes proficiency with tools and systems like Shopfloor, Siemens, Bosch, PLC, and WinCC.
• Ensure the stability, efficiency, and reliability of applications across various domains like manufacturing, logistics, maintenance, and quality.

• Proficiency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of German is highly desirable.

• Demonstrable experience in maintaining and optimizing critical production systems.

• Profound knowledge of shopfloor operations and devices.

• Strong expertise with systems such as Siemens, Bosch, PLC, and WinCC.

• Proven experience in overseeing application roll-outs, upgrades, and enhancements.

• Exceptional communication skills, adept at conveying technical nuances to diverse audiences.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. However, relevant and substantial experience in the field may compensate for the lack of formal education.

• Either a certification in SAP or a robust understanding of the SAP system is crucial for this role.

• Weekend Commitments: Availability for on-call duties during weekends is mandatory for this role.
