About the Role

Join PowerCo as our IT Data Platform (PowerBi) Specialist a critical role that forms the backbone of our data-driven decision-making process. In this position, you'll leverage your expertise in data science, analysis, and governance to support and enhance our IT data infrastructure, corporate data model & platform. You will also support different business areas in data analysis, the preparation of interactive dashboards and reports automation, usage of the data platform and local data ingest. Expert in transforming complex data into clear visualisations to falicitate strategic decision making.

  
 
Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to specialist for all data-related initiatives, including data modelling (using tools like PowerBI, Power Query), local reporting, and data governance.
• Develop and manage various types of data models (conceptual, logical, physical) and understand the interplay between them to ensure data integrity and efficiency.
• Utilize a variety of data modeling tools, languages, and techniques to maintain and improve our data systems.
• Apply knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases to manage, query, and manipulate data effectively.
• Use PowerBI to create insightful reports and visualizations, turning complex data sets into understandable and actionable information.
• Work with cloud-based data solutions, preferably AWS and Azure/Dataflows, to enhance data processing and storage capabilities.
• Intermediate/Advanced level of English required.
• Willingness to travel
• Knowledge of Agile methodology is valued
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

  
 
What you bring to the Team

Minimum of 2 years in data science, data analysis, or a related field, with a strong focus on data modeling and reporting

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Admin. or a related field. Alternatively, professional experience in Data Analysis will be considered.
