As we do this, the roles and responsibilities within our Human Resources department are diverse and crucial. HR ensures the flawless planning and execution of processes encompassing the entire employee lifecycle. HR encompasses sub-disciplines such as planning, recruiting, onboarding & retention, and targeted allocation of personnel across all departments. Moreover, an integral part of our HR strategy includes the deployment of specialized Technical Trainers. These experts will play a pivotal role in fostering the necessary skills, knowledge, and competencies in our workforce, particularly in areas as pivotal as battery cell manufacturing, automation, robotics, quality management, and health and safety. By facilitating learning and professional development, our trainers ensure our team is fully equipped to excel in their roles, thereby driving our company's success in the innovative field of battery cell production.

 

How you will CELLebrate

PowerCo is in search of a seasoned Health, Safety, and Emergency Prevention Trainer for our Campus Training program in Valencia. The individual will be responsible for developing and delivering a thorough health and safety training curriculum tailored to our staff, emphasizing battery cell manufacturing.

 

 

  • Design, develop, and roll out an all-encompassing health and safety training initiative, inclusive of emergency protocols. Ensure alignment with our organizational goals, cater to the learning needs of employees, and guarantee compliance with local and international standards.
  • Curate instructional content and resources for both theoretical and hands-on training modules. Coverage should span from personal safety, equipment protocols, chemical management, emergency actions, risk evaluation, accident mitigation, to other crucial subjects within the health, safety, and environmental facets of battery cell production.
  • Facilitate training sessions through diverse mediums such as in-person classes, online webinars, and interactive workshops. It's paramount that all employees grasp and adhere to the prescribed health and safety procedures.
  • Regularly assess the efficacy and robustness of the training program, making adjustments where needed to boost comprehension, engagement, and adherence.
  • Remain abreast of the latest developments in health, safety, and emergency protocols, especially those pertinent to battery cell manufacturing, and integrate any relevant changes into the training framework.
  • Partner with other departments to synchronize training content with industry-standard evolutions, technological innovations, and regulatory shifts.
  • Maintain training records in adherence to ISO/VDA standards.
  • Provide assistance during internal and external audits concerning health, safety, and environmental stipulations and policies.

 

 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a cognate discipline.
  • At least 5 years of exposure in a manufacturing backdrop, ideally in the realm of battery cell production, coupled with practical experience in health and safety oversight.
  • Established credentials as a technical trainer, specifically in health and safety.
  • Recognized certifications like NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, ATEX, or similar are highly desirable.
  • Comprehensive grasp of health and safety regulations and benchmarks, especially those germane to battery cell production.
  • Proven acumen in crafting and refining technical coursework.
  • Aptitude in contemporary health and safety training techniques and resources.
  • Stellar communication prowess and the capability to address varied audiences.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with German being a commendable asset.
  • Familiarity with MS Office suites and dedicated health and safety software applications.
  • Acquaintance with personal protection equipment (PPE) and relevant protection protocols within battery cell production.
  • Outstanding organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
