The mission has started. We proudly announce that we are starting the ramp up of our own cell manufacturing in Valencia. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations. 

Job Purpose:

The job purpose for the role of Head of Technic at PowerCo SE focuses on leading and overseeing the maintenance strategy for standard cell factories, ensuring uninterrupted production operations, and managing construction and facility operations for the Valencia Standard Factory. This role is crucial for maintaining regulatory compliance, advancing the digitalization strategy for battery cell production, and standardizing factory-wide digitization and infrastructure development, thereby ensuring the efficient and innovative operation of PowerCo SE's manufacturing capabilities.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance strategy for standard cell factories, considering global and local requirements.
• Directly handle production operations stop due to facility management issues, ensuring risk mitigation and control.
• Lead construction and facility management for the Standard Factory in Valencia, achieving construction targets efficiently.
• Ensure the smooth operation of media centers and maintenance of factory requirements.
• Oversee licensing, inspections, and regulatory compliance for facility operations.
• Drive the digitalization strategy for battery cell production across all sites.
• Standardize and operate factory-wide digitization and infrastructure development.
• Collaborate closely with R&D to implement new technologies in production processes, enhancing efficiency and product quality.
• Report directly to the CEO, providing strategic insights and updates on the maintenance, digitalization, and facility management fronts.
• Play a key role in sustainability initiatives, ensuring environmental compliance and advancement of green technologies within manufacturing processes.
• Develop and mentor a team of technical professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Engage in strategic partnerships with technology providers and industry leaders to keep PowerCo SE at the forefront of manufacturing advancements.
• Oversee budgeting and financial planning for technical operations, ensuring alignment with corporate fiscal strategies.
• Lead crisis management efforts related to technical operations, ensuring rapid response and minimal disruption to production.

• Proven experience in managing maintenance strategies for manufacturing facilities.
• Capability to develop action plans ensuring uninterrupted operations throughout the year.
• A minimum of 5 years leading teams and 10 years of experience in a relevant field with a focus on technical operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential for this position. Please note that we will only consider applications submitted in English.
