Who we are
|
You’ll be joining a diverse and ambitious team, spread across Germany, Canada, and Spain, all working together to shape the future of sustainable energy. At PowerCo we celebrate collaboration, progress and that spark that turns bold ideas into real impact. From our new gigafactory in Sagunto (Valencia), we’re driving a project that’s transforming both the region and the future of clean mobility in Europe — and you can be part of it.

Your role and key responsibilities
|
This position will be part of our Operations Department, the heart of PowerCo — where innovation becomes reality. This area brings together multiple teams working on the construction of our gigafactory and the different stages of battery cell production. From engineering and design to process optimization and production excellence, Operations is where the future of energy takes shape.
In your day-to-day, you will:
- Lead the end-to-end technical delivery of the Assembly area from construction through handover to Operations (up to SOP +6 months), ensuring readiness, quality, and milestone delivery.
- Coordinate launch preparation across battery-specific infrastructure (BSI), equipment installation/start-up, key procurement needs, contractor resourcing, and ramp-up activities.
- Own and steer the master project plan (incl. Primavera), keeping activities on track and driving early risk identification and corrective actions.
- Manage timeline and budget performance with full transparency on risks and opportunities, implementing mitigation plans to prevent delays or cost overruns.
- Act as the central cross-functional interface for your area (engineering, logistics, permitting, procurement, HSE, IT, process), representing the area in senior steering and stakeholder meetings aligned with the taskforce.

|
What you bring to the team
|
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Materials, Chemical, or similar).
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in industrial projects / construction & ramp-up environments, including 3–5 years in people leadership; strong project controls (time/cost/quality/safety), risk & change management, and stakeholder communication.
- Willingness to work in Sagunto. Please note that while some positions are currently based in Valencia, our operations will progressively move to Sagunto, so we require availability to work there from the start.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts.
- Please submit your CV in English.

What makes you stand out
|
- Experience in fast-paced corporate and/or large-scale ramp-up settings.
- Exposure to battery cell production and/or the integration of new technologies and processes into production.
- Possession of a disability certificate of 33% or more is valued. At PowerCo, we are deeply committed to diversity and inclusion — embracing neurodiversity, functional diversity, and all forms of individual difference. We believe diverse perspectives make us stronger and ensure everyone feels welcome, valued, and heard.
