Job Purpose:
To provide visionary leadership and unparalleled expertise in orchestrating PowerCo's general purchasing endeavors, ensuring optimal value realization, operational excellence, and sustained business growth.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the strategic direction for general services procurement, ensuring alignment with PowerCo's broader business objectives and market dynamics.
• Exercise authoritative oversight over individual and frame contract purchases, guaranteeing meticulous evaluation, approval, and integration into PowerCo's procurement ecosystem.
• Spearhead the development, execution, and review of avant-garde purchasing strategies, presenting impactful insights, performance metrics, and forward-looking roadmaps to PowerCo's elite sourcing committees.
• Mentor and nurture a team of purchasing professionals, instilling a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration, ensuring seamless interplay between purchasing and other pivotal business units, thereby amplifying collective business outcomes.

A proven track record with over 7 years of leadership experience in a sophisticated purchasing environment, marked by transformative strategic contributions and tangible business growth.

A university degree in economics, industrial engineering, or a closely related domain. An advanced degree or additional certifications in procurement would be a significant plus.

Construction purchasing knowledge and experience will be a significant plus

English is a must, German will be a plus.
