The mission has started! We proudly announce that we are starting the ramp up of our own cell manufacturing in Valencia. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations. 

As a Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge of battery manufacturing processes, and excellent communication skills.

• Manage a team of operators, setting goals in a production area, performance monitoring and review, feedback to employee and secure compliance with VDA/Lean/EHS for audit requirements.
• Make sure that employees are working meeting safety regulations to aviod any accident.
• Secure that product quality requirements can be achieved and give feedback about deviations to engineer for standard improvement.
• Guarantee the goal of equipment utilization can be reached.
• Organise production resources as personnel, machines, materials and in general operative resources based on rentability and production plan criteria.
• Responsible for production preparation of foreman office, rest room and shopfloor production assist tool management.
• Support in the creation, review and update of production documentation as for example, standard work sheet creation support and feedback to engineering.
• Support with budget planning, following-up and controlling the production expenses in his production area to indentify deviations and supporting engineering in applying required measures to meet cost targets.
• Ensure maintenance tasks within the production team or assuring specialized team to carry out maintenance in the area of control.
• Work on a 24/7 shift model following the factory working calendar and applicable shift rotation strategies according to the constraints of the production process

• Excellent communication & presentation skills in both: Spanish and English
• +3 years of managing teams in industrial environment
• High degree of adaptability and multi-task different projects. 
• High degree of personal initiative.
• Advanced knowledge of the MS Office system (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
• Professional Training(FP) in Chemistry, Automation & Robotics, Industrial Mechatronics, Mechanics or similar
