The mission has started. We proudly announce that we are starting the ramp up of our own cell manufacturing in Valencia. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations.
How you will CELLebrate
- Manage all fire safety and facility safety at the PowerCo site in Valencia, from the early stages of construction to managing the site's fire safety organization.
- Implementation of PowerCo fire safety standards and processes on site.
- Management, supervision, monitoring and control or testing of the plant fire brigade and external service providers. Also leading the team of experts for preventive fire protection and plant safety.
- Supervise and monitor responses to fire, accident, hazmat, and other security incidents; Work with internal partners and collaborate with the public fire brigade to enable quick solutions and safe operations.
- Carry out regular audits in accordance with the PowerCo standards and check the structural, technical and organizational fire protection.
- Responsible for the training and education of fire protection assistants and evacuation training and drills for the whole site.
- Develop and implement a Valencia focused fire safety strategy aligned with overall company policies to ensure continued effectiveness and track success against defined KPIs.
- Oversee crisis management procedures jointly with local management and the central corporate security team.
- Ensure coherent communication between key departments, such as construction and technology units, and take a unified stance on safety concerns and fire safety measures.
- Foster a positive security awareness culture and position the company at the forefront of the most secure businesses.
What you need for our CELLebration
- Only CVs in English will be accepted
- Fluent Spanish and English
- Academic degree in fire protection, civil engineering, security management or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience as an head of a public fire department or a plant fire brigade.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in personnel leadership and motivating team members, methodological competence, and dealing with plant safety and fire protection. Proven achievements in these areas are required.
- Proven skills in crisis management and fostering a security culture.
