Your role and key responsibilities

This role is pivotal in driving the implementation of digital solutions designed to enhance operational efficiency, data transparency, and strategic decision-making. As a key member of a high-performance team, you will gain hands-on expertise in Industrial IoT (IIoT), automation, advanced analytics, digital workflows, and Smart Manufacturing, directly contributing to the organization’s digital maturity transformation.

The Digital Value Stream Manager (Digital VSM) serves as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for designated production segments. You will oversee machine connectivity, end-to-end traceability, KPI visualization, and software (SW) deployment by orchestrating collaboration across all functional stakeholders. You will act as the critical strategic bridge between local site processes and Global Digitalization rollout initiatives.

  
 
What you bring to the team

Core Responsibilities:

1. End-to-End Orchestration
• Coordinate all digitalization workstreams within the assigned process area, ensuring seamless         integration from shop floor to our digital solution landscape, bridging IT and OT.
• Serve as the primary bidirectional SPOC, streamlining communication channels to ensure rapid information flow and alignment between local and global teams.

2. Technical Subject Matter Expertise
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the digital ecosystem with the focus on MES, machine connectivity and traceability.
• Articulate the technical capabilities, architectural constraints, and value propositions of various solutions to stakeholders.
• Manage on-site contractors (OG-C) for complex field activities, including end-to-end shop floor integration testing.

3. System Validation & Commissioning
• Lead and execute Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for digital systems, including conducting technical audits and quality inspections at supplier sites.

4. Digital Project Lifecycle Support
• Facilitate the deployment of Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., edge computing, smart sensors, mobile applications).
• Drive project milestones through rigorous testing, technical documentation, and post-launch deployment support.
• Partner with cross-functional departments (Production, Quality, Maintenance) to translate operational pain points into technical requirements.

5. Data Governance & Analytics
• Ensure data integrity and perform validation for critical digital KPIs in collaboration with the respective project teams.

6. Process Mapping  & Optimization
• Conduct process mapping to identify bottlenecks and high-impact digital intervention opportunities.

7. Change Management & User Enablement
• Provide  functional support for digital tools deployed within operations.
• lead onboarding sessions to ensure high system adoption rates and ensure availability of appropriate training materials
• Synthesize user feedback to identify bugs and  drive system enhancements.

8. Continuous Innovation
• Proactively engage in professional development regarding Industry 4.0 trends, agile project management, and emerging digital platforms.
• Contribute to innovation workshops, rapid prototyping, and pilot projects to stay at the forefront of manufacturing excellence.

  
 
What makes you stand out
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering,IT Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrates adaptability to shifting priorities and demands.
