As we do this, the roles and responsibilities within our Human Resources department are diverse and crucial. HR ensures the flawless planning and execution of processes encompassing the entire employee lifecycle. HR encompasses sub-disciplines such as planning, recruiting, onboarding & retention, and targeted allocation of personnel across all departments. Moreover, an integral part of our HR strategy includes the deployment of specialized Technical Trainers. These experts will play a pivotal role in fostering the necessary skills, knowledge, and competencies in our workforce, particularly in areas as pivotal as battery cell manufacturing, automation, robotics, quality management, and health and safety. By facilitating learning and professional development, our trainers ensure our team is fully equipped to excel in their roles, thereby driving our company's success in the innovative field of battery cell production.

 

How you will CELLebrate

We are seeking a Battery Cell Technical Trainer who will play a crucial role in building our technical training program. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise in battery cell manufacturing and exceptional training skills. You will be responsible for developing technical training content, defining learning paths, and delivering high-quality vocational and technical training to new employees and participants in our Campus Training program.

 

 

  • Define and deliver technical training programs based on organizational requirements, learning objectives, and business needs related to battery cell manufacturing.
  • Develop training materials for both theory and practical sessions, covering areas such as raw material preparation, electrode coating, cell assembly, formation & aging.
  • Execute training sessions in various formats (e.g., classroom, webinars, workshops) and maintain the training lab equipment.
  • Apply your expertise in lithium-ion battery chemistry and solid-state battery technology to deliver comprehensive technical training.
  • Evaluate the results of training programs and constantly develop and improve the material based on feedback.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure that training materials align with current industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide hands-on training on battery production equipment such as for mixing, coating, assembling, filling, sealing and formation & aging stackers, and testers.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in battery technology and incorporate relevant updates into the training program.

 

 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • Master’s degree in chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical, Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical engineering or a related field. A Ph.D. is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in battery cell production in the automotive industry.
  • Proven experience as a technical trainer, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Expertise in lithium-ion battery chemistry and solid-state battery technology.
  • Experience in designing and developing technical course content.
  • Proficiency in modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish. German is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
