BSI Project Coordinator

Your role and key responsibilities

Project Management
• Manage and coordinate all aspects of day-to-day works for BSI (Battery Specific Infrastructure), that includes organizing of equipment setup, steering of material for on-site installations, headcount planning of external contractors, and ramp-up activities.
• Monitor work progress and ensure execution follows official schedules, drawings and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, technical requirements and company procedures.
• Manage the resolution of technical and execution issues to provide for BSI project leader and team.
• Led end-to-end project delivery, including scoping, execution, and governance, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Project Planning & Schedule Control
• Develop, maintain and control detailed project schedules aligned with the overall Primavera Planning.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets, while maintaining full transparency on risks and opportunities. Develop, implement and executes mitigation strategies to address potential delays or cost overruns.
• Manage and set project objectives, allocating resources, and monitoring delivery performance.
• Synchronize project milestones with internal teams, contractors and subcontractors.
• Identify critical paths, risks, deviations and schedule impacts.
• Define, implement and track mitigations and preventive action plans.
• To be a partner with production, logistics, and quality functions to drive BSI execution strategy.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
• HSE coordination for all BSI contractors and subcontractors.
• Ensure safe working conditions on site and full compliance with internal standards and governmental regulations.
• Support and report HSE requirements (visas, headcount, machinery, materials, permits and licenses).

Operations Management with Contractors
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with contractors and subcontractors.
• Act as the central point of contact for cross-functional coordination for the respective project area, interfacing with technical factory organization, logistics, permitting, procurement and other line functions.
• Manage and report contractors performance.
• Ensure contractors comply with contractual, safety, quality and schedule requirements.

Permitting & Regulatory Coordination
• Manage permits, licenses and regulatory approvals required for construction activities.
• Participate with contractors during the development of execution project documentation to ensure compliance with permitting, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Identify permitting risks and define mitigation plans to protect project timeline.

Project Management & Operational Excellence
• Implement best practices in construction execution and project delivery.
• Maintain dashboards for KPIs, risks and performance tracking.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on performance, efficiency and quality.

• Communication, Reporting & Stakeholder Management
• Ensure transparent and consistent information flow between BSI execution team and involved stakeholders (Facility, Equipment, PMO, Logistics, contractors and subcontractors).
• Prepare daily and weekly progress status reports.
• Lead regular construction coordination meetings and escalation meetings.
• Communicate execution progress, risks and mitigation measures to management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate execution activities with Value Stream Managers (VSMs) and stakeholders.

What you bring to the team
  • Bachelor's degree or Master´s degree in Engineering-Business-Administration or Business-Communication-Project-Management
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Project Management 
  • Experience in Timeline tracking, Supplier management, project management 
  • Experience in automotive Industry or Battery or Pharmaceutical or semi-conductor Industry 
  • Ability to adapt to and maintain flexibility with the juggling of multiple projects 
  • Advanced competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 
  • Know-How in schedule software (MMP, Primera, etc. ) 
  • Working knowledge of OneDrive, SharePoint, MS Teams, Concur and SAP strongly desired 
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English (mandatory)
  • Fluent in Chinese (mandatory)
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
