Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations

• Develop the Waste Management Concept for PowerCo Spain.
• Develop the Waste Center layout and processes in collaboration with Planning department.
• Plan Waste Management Handling, Transportation and Storage.
• Support and advise specialists and managers from factory planning and operations.
• Containment Management (planning, handling, purchasing, etc).
• Scouting for disposal companies and responsible for tendering of disposal companies.
• Technical auditing for disposal companies.
• Maintain electronics records of waste disposal certificates from disposal companies.
• Contact person for authorities, disposal companies and forwarding agents.
• Communicate with authorities and regularly conduct internal and external audits and reporting.
• Ensure coherent communication between key departments, such as construction and technology units, and take a unified stance on waste management concerns.
• Coordinate waste management and support local environmental including training sessions.
• This position reports directly to the Head of HSE.

• Degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering or related field.
• Fluent level of English and Spanish.
• Expert knowledge in European, Spanish and Local law and regulation to assure compliance with Waste Management & Environment.
• Experience with licensing authorities.
• Proven skills with digitalized waste disposal processes.
• Proficiency in recognizing customer expectations.
• Manages, maintains and continually refine documentation for the Environmental Management System (EMS)
• Shift work
