Your role and key responsibilities

As the Technical Assistant of the Planning Department at PowerCo Spain you will report directly to Planning Director, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating strategic and operational matters within the Planning Department, including PMO, Communication, IT, Legal Compliance & Risk Management. You will be responsible for advising and assisting in decision-making processes, conveying instructions from the Planning Director, and ensuring the smooth operation of various departmental activities.

Strategic

  • Provide strategic guidance and support to the Planning Director by conducting analysis, gathering data, and offering insights that aid in decision-making acting.
  • Assist the executive in prioritizing tasks, projects, and goals. This involves understanding the organization's strategic priorities and ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately.

Operational tracking or executive support.

  • Convey instructions and information from the Planning Director to the first line and relevant departments, ensuring clarity and adherence. Including coordination of the first line of Planning Director.
  • Collaborate with the Planning team in the development and execution of the organization's strategic plan. This involves aligning short-term and long-term goals and ensuring that initiatives are in line with the overall vision. Play a crucial role in monitoring progress, identifying potential issues, facilitating resolution, corrective measures and recommendation for enhanced teamwork.
  • Act as a Planning Director representative, especially in meetings. The executive assistant helps convey the Planning Director´s vision and expectations to various stakeholders.
  • Act as the responsible body affair for the Administrative Body Committee, including report drafting, agenda and minutes preparation.
  • Assist in organizing and executing TOP Committees.
  • Engage in area-specific or inter-area projects.

Data gathering, analysis and report

  • Prepare reports, performance metrics, benchmarks and other information formats for the Planning Director decision-making.
  • Act as risk coordinator within Planning Department areas, promoting identification of risks, informing and collecting risk assessments.

Resource planning

  • Support and collaborate in the identification, development and recruitment process for the Planning Director´s organizational structure.
  • Manage the personal ramp-up necessities and budget for the Planning Director, including long-term planning.
  • Manage and coordinate interns within the Planning areas.

Administrative key support

  • Assist in the development of relevant principles, and guidelines.
  • Support the Planning Director in meeting planning and visitor reception and Business Trips.
  
 
What you bring to the team

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering.

1 year in Finance or Productive area role with experience in strategic planning and project coordination.

Fluent in English.
