Project Delivery & Site Execution Expert

Who we are

You’ll be joining a diverse and ambitious team, spread across Germany, Canada, and Spain, all working together to shape the future of sustainable energy. At PowerCo we celebrate collaboration, progress and that spark that turns bold ideas into real impact. From our new gigafactory in Sagunto (Valencia), we’re driving a project that’s transforming both the region and the future of clean mobility in Europe — and you can be part of it.

Your role and key responsibilities

This position will be part of our Operations Department, the heart of PowerCo — where innovation becomes reality. This area brings together multiple teams working on the construction of our gigafactory and the different stages of battery cell production. From engineering and design to process optimization and production excellence, Operations is where the future of energy takes shape.

As our Project Delivery & Site Execution Expert, you’ll connect planning with execution and help turn complex installation plans into coordinated, on-time delivery across our battery manufacturing facilities.

In your day-to-day, you will:

  • Lead BSI trades and installation activities on-site, coordinating contractors, subcontractors, equipment suppliers and specialist trades.
  • Develop and maintain detailed schedules aligned with equipment installation plans, tracking milestones and KPIs and driving change control, risk mitigation, escalations and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate interfaces across building, process, mechanical and electrical disciplines; review drawings and specifications; and ensure compliance with PowerCo, Volkswagen Group and project requirements.
  • Resolve technical and operational issues by connecting planning, site execution, commissioning and stakeholder teams and keeping decisions moving.
  • Coordinate multi-trade implementation and commissioning across production areas, facilitate communication with VSMs, BSI teams, suppliers and management, and prepare clear daily, weekly and executive reports.

What you bring to the team
  • University degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related technical field, together with at least 5 years of experience in industrial construction, installation or project delivery.
  • Proven knowledge of construction and installation management, technical drawings, interface coordination, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Willingness to work in Sagunto. Please note that while some positions are currently based in Valencia, our operations will progressively move to Sagunto, so we require availability to work there from the start.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts.
  • Please submit your CV in English.

What makes you stand out
  • Experience in battery manufacturing, automotive, gigafactory or another complex industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of multi-area commissioning and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

What to look forward to
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Competitive salary aligned with the Spanish Chemical Industry Collective Agreement.
  • 25 vacation days a year + extra PowerCo Days to truly disconnect.
  • Full health insurance coverage for you.
  • Gympass membership to keep your body and mind in top shape.
  • Monthly meal allowance through Cobee.
  • Permanent contract — we’re building something to last.
  • Employee discounts, including special rates on vehicles from the Group.
