Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations

• Manage all fire safety and facility safety at the PowerCo site in Valencia, from the early stages of construction to managing the site's fire safety organization.
• Implementation of PowerCo fire safety standards and processes on site.
• Management, supervision, monitoring and control or testing of the plant fire brigade and external service providers.
• Management of the maintenance of all fire protection equipment in the plant, being responsible for task planning and analytical capacity to provide the best corrective solution to detected anomalies.
• Conduct thorough reviews of technical designs for fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with internal standards, local regulations, and international codes. This includes coordination of designs for sprinkler systems, smoke exhaust systems, and fire detection installations.
• Oversee the on-site execution of fire protection installations, ensuring that all works are performed according to the approved designs, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and oversee external contractors responsible for the planning, installation, and supervision of fire protection systems, ensuring the timely and effective completion of fire safety infrastructure according to established safety standards.
• Supervise the operational matrix of the plant, defining and optimizing emergency response procedures, including maneuver protocols for facilities and equipment in emergency scenarios.
• Perform risk analysis for modifications in the installation.
• Ensure coherent communication between key departments, such as construction and technology units, and take a unified stance on safety concerns and fire safety measures.
• Collaborate whit the several emergency teams in case of fire, accident, hazmat, and other security incidents.
• Work with internal partners and collaborate with the public fire brigade to enable quick solutions and safe operations.
• Carry out regular audits in accordance with the PowerCo standards and check the structural, technical and organizational fire protection. You also ensure the effectiveness of defensive fire protection.
• Support and collaboration in the development of training and education of fire protection assistants and evacuation training and drills for the whole site.
• Develop and implement fire safety strategy aligned with overall company policies to ensure continued effectiveness and track success against defined KPIs.
• Oversee crisis management procedures jointly with local management and the central corporate security team.

• Expert knowledge in Spanish and local law regarding
• Fire Protection Proven skills in crisis management and fostering a safety culture.
• Proficiency in recognizing customer expectations
• Fluent level of English and Spanish
• Degree civil engineering, safety management or equivalent
