The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells.

 

How you will CELLebrate

  • Develop and define standard tests for mechanical cell components based on cell specifications and customer requirements
  • Derive release test conditions on components level as well as on cell level to evaluate functional, chemical and safety properties of cell components and materials
  • Create test specifications on material level to ensure quality of incoming goods
  • Supervise test execution including planning of resources, time schedule and tracking of progress
  • Optimize mechanical components together with part owners and mechanical designers
  • Develop and implement test standards together with suppliers
 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • Successfully completed (under-)graduate degree (optionally PhD) in electrical, chemical, or mechanical engineering, or similar education
  • Several years of professional experience in requirements management or test management in the automotive field
  • In-depth experience in testing and data analysis 
  • Highly structured and responsible way of work
  • High degree of self-initiative and target orientation
  • Business fluent English language skills

  • Profound knowledge in mechanics of different material classes (e.g. metals, polymers, ceramics)
  • Sound knowledge in the area of battery cells, cell components, and battery materials
  • Above-average ability to work in a team and enjoy working in an agile working environment
