The mission hast started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. The operations takes care of all operations related activities within the battery cell manufacturing. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of corporate product
How you will CELLebrate
- Perform tasks related to inline measurement systems for battery cell production plants, including optical, xray, beta ray, electrical, dimensional, weighing, defect detection, leakage measurement systems.
- Define inline measurement strategy for battery cell high-volume production.
- Lead multi-equipment planning from the concept phase through to process implementation and approval by MSA.
- Supervise the equipment supplier to install and commission the inline measurement equipment.
- Lead the activities of measurement equipment handover to production team, and plan and manage tasks that required after equipment handover, including MSA, calibration, stability check instructions.
- Lead the efforts to interface and exchange with other PowerCo departments including development, process, quality, automation, logistics, digitalization, maintenance, etc.
- Report necessary information to project team and management
- Investigate and identify root causes of equipment failures and summarize/communicate lessons learned.
- Develop cell production training plans and train employees on technical topics
- Provide technical support to task forces as needed
- Scouting for new inline measurement systems for battery production , assess and develop such systems up to integration in the series production.
What you need for our CELLebration
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (Master’s or PhD is preferred) in electrical, mechanical, materials, chemical or electrochemical engineering, or a related major.
- 5+ years experience of working in battery cell industry and/or in measurement departures of other industries, ideally within a global organization.
- Direct experience in designing/planning measurement equipment
- Extensive experience in the process of approval of measurement systems with VDA 5 or MSA
- Experience in leading teams, projects and technical topics.
- Fluent english skills
