The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells. 

 

How you will CELLebrate

  • Disciplinary management of the team Test Organization
  • Responsible for the coordination of all contacts with external testing institutes for the validation of lithium-ion cells in Germany as well as worldwide
  • Further expansion of the network of test institutes with a focus on North America and Spain
  • Planning of internal and external test resources for testing lithium-ion cells based on a rolling forecast for short-, medium- and long-term demands
  • Coordination of validation requirements with internal customers and development departments of PowerCo
  • Further development of the sub-department. Identifying candidates and managing the hiring process
  • Definition and introduction of standards for recording and controlling planning processes
  • Analysis of processes and weak points including elimination, as well as creation of target processes in coordination with the specialist departments
 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • Completed studies in the field of (economic) engineering, natural sciences or business administration or comparable qualifications
  • Experience in the battery industry with a focus on validation and coordination of test procedures
  • Several years of experience in process management with a technical background (e.g. process workshops, process modeling, process analysis, etc.)
  • Methodological competence, good analytical skills and process-oriented mindset
  • Flexibility, commitment and interest in familiarizing yourself with new topics
  • Very good written and spoken English skills
  • Intercultural competence
  • Willingness to travel internationally

  • Knowledge of the automotive industry
  • Chinese language skills are a plus
