Team Lead Lithium and Manganese Procurement (all genders)

The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The Purchasing unit is the interface to the supplier market and is thus responsible for a large part of the value creation. The responsibilities range from raw material purchasing to supplier management and plant purchasing to value engineering.

• Build and lead a team
• Implementing the global Vertical Integration Strategy for Lithium and Manganese
• Converting and refining for PowerCo demand to ensure material availability, cost targets, and ESG standards
• Implementing commodity and procurement strategies for new products and materials, requiring solutions in mining, raw materials, conversion, refining, and specialty chemicals
• Building and developing an organization with diverse skills, including raw material experts, mining engineers, analysts, and specialty chemicals engineers

• A BSc, MSc, or PhD degree in mining, metallurgy, chemistry or a related field with several years of professional experience in a comparable position
• In-depth knowledge in the procurement of lithium and manganese, including market analysis, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiations
• Experience in building and leading a team of professionals, including raw material experts and mining engineers, to manage complex project
• Fluent English for negotiations
