The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations. 

 

How you will CELLebrate

  • Head of the Environmental Management sub-department
  • Functional project management for environmental topics in PowerCo's battery cell projects
  • Development, implementation and maintenance of group-wide environmental policies, procedures and standards for the company
  • Establishment and implementation of the environmental compliance management system according to ISO 14001 and internal guidelines for PowerCo as well as management of the roll-out in the plants
  • Control of environmental permits for battery cell factories
  • Waste disposal concept for all global battery cell factories and other relevant PowerCo sites
  • Establishment and training of environmental management organizations at all relevant PowerCo sites
 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • Completed university studies in the field of environmental management, environmental technology, chemistry, engineering or related disciplines.
  • At least 5 years of management experience as well as experience in the implementation of environmental management systems and environmental management according to ISO 14001, in battery cell production or in a manufacturing plant
  • Knowledge of waste management and disposal
  • Comprehensive understanding of applicable environmental legislation and regulations both domestically and internationally
  • Strong communication and leadership skills as well as strong analytical and problem solving skills in the field of environmental protection
  • Business fluent in English and German
 

What else can you bring

  • Experience in battery cell production or in the automotive industry
  • Knowledge of dealing with international and European chemical regulations
  • Experience with environmental approval processes
  • Experience with digital (cloud-based) HSE management platforms
