Who we are

Our mission has started. We are starting our own battery cell production in Battery Valley in Salzgitter and ramping up our headquarters for global cell production. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells.

Your role and key responsibilities

Leading a team of highly specialized experts from around the world in the field of lithium-ion battery system development
Carrying out resource planning, personnel planning, procurement of services, consumables, control of budget and investments
Optimization of existing concepts in terms of cost, weight, lifetime and manufacturability
Exploring alternative battery system solutions
Patent protection of new ideas
Competitive analysis and benchmarking in the field of battery systems

What you bring to the team

Completed technical/university studies, e.g. in mechanical engineering, materials science, physics or comparable qualification
Experience in leading teams of experts in the automotive sector
Experience in the development of battery systems
In-depth knowledge of battery systems
Professional communication skills in English

Above-average ability to work in a team and willingness to travel at home and abroad
Very good IT skills, especially MS Office
