The mission hast started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The Purchasing unit is the interface to the supplier market and is thus responsible for a large part of the value creation. The responsibilities range from raw material purchasing to supplier management and plant purchasing to value engineering. 

• Technical field expert for the support and tracking of suppliers for battery cell pre-material
• Being responsible for project timeline tracking and ensuring the on-time delivery of the components
• Presenting work results and project status reports in committees
• Evaluating suppliers' eligibility for tenders for new projects
• Analyzing the planned manufacturing processes, industrialization concepts and project schedules
• Independently implementing measures for immediate project milestones follow up
• Ensuring the delivery of battery cell components
• Verifying and accepting the installed production capacities
• Map interfaces as a technical expert in procurement for other departments
• Independently controlling the necessary on-site visits and action plans

• Successfully completed (under-)graduate degree with focus on process engineering, chemistry, mining, physics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar education

• Extensive technical understanding of lean production, OEE determination and continual improvement process (CIP)

• Business fluent English language skills

• Good handling of MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• In-depth knowledge of primary materials for battery cell production

• High level of initiative and negotiation skills
