The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of the unit Information Technology are varied. IT takes care all matters relating to information technology, i.e. electronic data processing. The responsibilities vary from IT-infrastructure to digitization of the organization to the operational use of electronic data processing throughout the organization.
How you will CELLebrate
- Primary responsibility of defining all aspects of the Core Network strategy, architecture and standards of both on-premises and cloud base environments
- Design and plan various Enterprise network solutions such as Wide Area Networks (SD-WAN), Local Area Network (LAN), Wireless, Network Access Control, DMZ environments, Azure, AWS and 3rd Party connections
- Designing, road mapping and planning, data communication networks for the organization taking into consideration capacity management, security, availability, performance and life cycle management
- Inspecting network systems including their performance and readiness and take into consideration bandwidth requirements, infrastructure requirements and security
- Planning and managing large-scale network and security infrastructure projects as well as monitoring and coordinating the work of other IT specialists and providers working on the same project to ensure compliance
- Engaging in network modelling and analysis as well as designing and managing security countermeasures when network vulnerabilities arise
- Review network vendors and suppliers to ensure that quality network solutions are proposed according to requirements
- Third level support for complex network incidents and problems
- Supports the CISO organization in the implementation of security posture aligned to PowerCo Security Standards and the ISO27001 framework
What you need for our CELLebration
- Master´s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field and current / certified knowledge in IT Networks
- Understanding and expert knowledge of IT Networking component Tools (Access Layer, Distribution layer, Server farm switches, Firewalls, IPS system etc.)
- Ablility to present technical information clearly to a non-technical audience
- Experience in supporting networks and network security infrastructure as well as strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (in English)
- Ablility to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment as well as effective project management and facilitation skills
What else can you bring
- Relevant Network certifications
- Experience in a systems administrator role and with cloud and network architecture, scripting, and writing protocols
- Comfortable with computing, frameworks, hybrid cloud, and communications systems
- Experience with scalability, failover, and IaaS systems and protocols
