The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of the unit Information Technology are varied. IT takes care all matters relating to information technology, i.e. electronic data processing. The responsibilities vary from IT-infrastructure to digitization of the organization to the operational use of electronic data processing throughout the organization.

 

How you will CELLebrate

  • Responsibility of defining and own all aspects of the enterprise compute and storage solutions strategy, architecture and standards
  • Designing, planning and implementing various enterprise compute and storage solutions, including servers, storage arrays, storage networks, virtualization platforms, cloud services, backup & recovery  and server based operating systems
  • Subject matter expert for compute and storage infrastructure, operating systems, providing technical guidance to IT teams in the planning, implementation and optimization of solutions
  • Evaluating and select appropriate enterprise compute, storage solutions and software vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services
  • Perform capacity planning exercises for future compute and storage requirements and ensure that infrastructure resources are provisioned efficiently
  • Identify and implement performance optimization strategies to enhance the efficiency and responsiveness of compute and storage systems
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance within the compute and storage environment
  • Provide expert technical support and assistance for complex compute and storage-related issues, collaborating with other IT teams and vendors as needed to resolve incidents
  • Develop and maintain processes for compute and storage configurations, performance & capacity planning procedures including documentation
  • Ensure implementation and quality of large-scale compute and storage infrastructure projects  
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to IT staff across locations on compute and storage technologies and best practices 
  • Support the CISO organization in the management of the compute and storage posture aligned to PowerCo Security Standards and the ISO27001/2 framework
     
 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field 
  • In-depth expert knowledge of various enterprise compute and storage solutions, including servers, storage arrays, storage networks, virtualization platforms, cloud services, backup & recovery and operating systems
  • Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer or similar role focusing on compute and storage infrastructure.
  • Expertise in Operating Systems e.g. Windows, Red Hat Linux and Unix as well as experience with Active Directory concepts such as group policies, groups, users, authentication, replication, security permissions, etc.
  • Understanding of networking concepts and protocols
  • Hands-on experience with leading compute and storage platforms and technologies, such as VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, AWS, Azure
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Able to present technical information clearly to a non-technical audience as well as effective project management and facilitation skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English required
