Who we are

The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells. 

  
 
Your role and key responsibilities
  • Developing the best battery materials for PowerCo's lithium-ion batteries
  • Close cooperation with material suppliers, implementation of development projects and partnerships
  • Execution of material synthesis, analysis and evaluation in test benches
  • Support for the implementation of battery materials in PowerCo's cells from material selection to production
  • Scouting and analysis of technical trends, conducting literature and patent searches
  • Assumption of technical and strategic leadership for a topic
  • Professional guidance and coaching of specialist members
  
 
What you bring to the team
  • Completed technical/university studies in chemistry, electrochemistry, materials science, physics, chemical engineering or comparable qualification
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in the field of battery or battery material development
  • Expert knowledge in the development of battery materials for lithium-ion batteries
  • In-depth knowledge of battery cells and electromobility
  • Strong ability to work in a team, also and above all the willingness and desire to work together in an innovative and international environment
  • Strong ability to self-organize and good communication skills
  • Strong ability to lead a topic professionally and to instruct expert members professionally
  
 
What makes you stand out
  • Doctorate in the field of lithium-ion batteries desired
  • Willingness to travel internationally
