The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the finance department plays a key role. The unit takes care of all financial processes within the company. The responsibilities vary from preparation of product- and production sites decision to record and analyze all financial company transactions in SAP S4 Hana cloud.

 

How you will CELLebrate

  • Advice in connection with business decisions, strategies and planning, e.g. location decisions, M&A activities, cooperations, etc. with regard to corporate and international taxes
  • Assessment of contracts from a tax point of view and derivation of recommendations for action
  • Participation in the development of the control function of the battery division, the structuring and optimization of tax processes as well as the governance function
  • Implementation of the guidelines and instructions applicable in the VW Group for compliance with legal regulations and internal processes
  • Coordination of tax issues with VW's tax department and supervision of tax audits in Germany and abroad
  • Coordination of external consultants in Germany and abroad
 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • Successfully completed studies in economics with a focus on taxes 
  • Several years of practical professional experience in the tax department of an industrial company or as a consultant in a comparable function
  • Degree as tax advisor (Germany: Steuerberater), optional degree as specialist consultant for international tax law (Germany:Fachberater für Internationales Steuerrecht)
  • Very good knowledge of international tax law as well as international transfer pricing
  • Willingness to travel required for international business trips
  • Ability to communicate complex issues in a comprehensible and understandable way
  • Business fluent in written and spoken English and German
