The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the finance department plays a key role. The unit takes care of all financial processes within the company. The responsibilities vary from preparation of product- and production sites decision to record and analyze all financial company transactions in SAP S4 Hana cloud. 

 

How you will CELLebrate

  • Preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements of PowerCo Group, incl. Cash flow statements 
  • Collaboration with our Subsidiaries and Joint ventures in all group accounting and consolidation matters, as well as with colleagues of Volkswagen AG, Controlling and Treasury
  • Analysis and Quality assurance of the reporting packages of our subsidiaries and analysis of PowerCo Group financial statements
  • Contact for special topics, e.g. Financial instruments and Hedge Accounting (IAS 39/IFRS 7)
  • Participation in group wide accounting projects, e.g. ESG-Reporting, M&A activities and Roll-out of a new VW consolidation system
 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • Successful university degree (or equivalent) in business administration, advanced studies in international accounting, group accounting or auditing
  • Several years of professional experience in the Accounting Group department of an international corporation or an Audit firm
  • Excellent knowledge on IFRS
  • Excellent knowledge of consolidation systems, preferable SAP BCS or S/4HANA Group Reporting
  • Experience in project management, as well as a confident appearance
  • Business fluent in written and spoken English and German
