The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The Purchasing unit is the interface to the supplier market and is thus responsible for a large part of the value creation. The responsibilities range from raw material purchasing to supplier management and plant purchasing to value engineering.

 

How you will CELLebrate

  • Analysis of forecasts and trends for the global value chains of battery raw materials and battery cell components to secure the company´s competitive position
  • Development of business case studies and potentials including innovations, international initiatives and laws
  • Planning, evaluation, coordination and monitoring of projects with internal and external partners
  • Gaining deep insights into the value chains and developing ideas for partnership models and best value chain efficiency
 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • Degree in industrial chemistry, georesource management, mining or materials science or a related field, ideally with several years of professional experience in a comparable position
  • Strong knowledge of highly complex supply chains, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, transportation, warehousing and customs clearance in the chemical or mining industry
  • Excellent communication skills across different levels and in international collaboration as well as flexibility in an agile environment
  • Excellent leadership and management skills with experience in leading cross-functional teams
  • Business fluent in English and German
 

What else can you bring

  • Very good methodological knowledge of project management, market analysis and research principles, -theories and -techniques and their independent application
  • Strong ability to create meaningful reports and presentations for the top management and to present the results to committees
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one area of the value chains of battery raw materials, including raw materials trading and recycling or battery cell components
