The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The Purchasing unit is the interface to the supplier market and is thus responsible for a large part of the value creation. The responsibilities range from raw material purchasing to supplier management and plant purchasing to value engineering.
How you will CELLebrate
- Setting up regional Hubs to support projects for battery raw materials, conversion & refining to supply PowerCo demand and ensure material availability
- Ensuring projects within the scope of global hubs ramp up and industrialize in-line with business needs
- Developing organization planning for new supplier offices globally, understanding required personnel and skill sets required
- Setting up of global supplier offices and initiate their operation in line with local laws, regulations and cultural traditions, while ensuring office remains aligned with PowerCo global values
- Developing new processes, roles, responsibilities, KPIs and procedures for management and operation of the global supplier offices
What you need for our CELLebration
- Experience in battery industry supply chain (Cathode, Anode, Ni, Co, Li etc) AND/OR strategy consulting
- Business level English
- Entrepreneurial mindset to take ownership of complex problems and drive them to completion
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Curiosity to stay informed of market changes in a fast moving industry
