The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of Corporate Quality are varied. The unit is responsible for all quality related activities of PowerCo SE ranging from the development of the quality strategy and targets over safeguarding the certification readiness to the global supplier management.
How you will CELLebrate
- Controlling of corporate product quality issues in battery cell projects (in pre-development, series development and series manufacturing processes)
- Preventive quality work
- Defects analysis, steering of the problem solving process
- Planning of the structural and procedural organization, piloting of new processes and implementation in series processes
- If required: Defining of the IT requirements relevant to Corporate Product Quality from the perspective of the department, test and implementation support, planning, preparation and implementation of employee training, acting as key user function in the department
- Defining and further development of methods, relevant to corporate product quality (process and methods)
- Preparating of problem analyses, defining of measures and, if necessary, creating of management decisions for the continuous optimization of product quality
- Planning for the provisions of warranty and goodwill costs by finance
- Controlling of supplier recourse
- Collaborating in cross-functional teams from cell development, manufacturing and supply chain
What you need for our CELLebration
- Degree in engineering in the field of mechanical engineering, production technology, materials science, chemistry or comparable qualification
- Enjoyment of daring and creating new things, developing solutions
- Experience in global corporations or large medium-sized companies
- Experience in the automotive or chemical industry preferred
- At least one professional station with a focus on quality is desired (QM, supplier quality, etc.)
- Business fluent in English and German
- Experience in product companies and manufacturing companies preferred (project and/or line organization)
- Product start-up experience, preferably also globally
- IT affinity
- Able to act constructively and creatively in heterogeneous groups, if necessary without authority to issue instructions
- Be able to deep dive into and structure complex issues, develop solution proposals and prepare recommendations for management decisions

- Experience in the field of electromobility and high voltage battery cell production
