The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The Purchasing unit is the interface to the supplier market and is thus responsible for a large part of the value creation. The responsibilities range from raw material purchasing to supplier management and plant purchasing to value engineering.
Conduct independent research and analysis on the raw material value chains at the interface between mining and refining as well as cell and battery production Evaluate the technical feasibility and commercial fit of proposals, projects and suppliers Analyse battery raw materials markets and their pricing mechanisms Track and evaluate trends and forecasts in the battery raw materials industry Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the battery raw materials industry and negotiations
Completed studies in mining, metallurgy, chemistry or a related field or several years of professional experience in a comparable position In-depth knowledge of at least one subject area of the battery raw materials supply chain including mining, processing, refining, pCAM production Fluent English
Professional experience in the chemical or mining industry
