The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The Purchasing unit is the interface to the supplier market and is thus responsible for a large part of the value creation. The responsibilities range from raw material purchasing to supplier management and plant purchasing to value engineering.
How you will CELLebrate
- Procurement of machines/equipment & operating resourses
- Independent execution of supplier inquiries and price negotiations as well as conclusion of individual orders and framework agreements
- Presentation of procurement strategies and negotiation results in procurement committees of PowerCo SE and Volkswagen AG
- Management and optimization of contracts in coordination with internal stakeholders
- Development, maintenance and management of strategic suppliers
What you need for our CELLebration
- Successfully completed studies in the technical or commercial field or relevant professional experience with similar qualifications
- Basic technical understanding and willingness to learn new topics
- Confident use of MS Office
- Business fluent in English
- Suitability of the position for career starters
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, strategic thinking and strong self-organization skills
- Affinity for numbers and measurable results
