The mission hast started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, pre-development of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells. 

 

How you will CELLebrate

  • Hands-on development of future cell chemistries on a laboratory scale: "You turn ideas into first hardware!" 
  • Produce slurries, cell components and prototype cells, e. g. coin and small pouch cells for internal customers like pre- and series-development
  • Establish new cell manufacturing processes in the lab aligned with our process responsibles
  • Support maintenance and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment
  • Ensure product quality through regular reference tests in all process steps
  • Help to onboard new laboratory technicians
 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • Bachelor degree e.g. in chemistry, electro chemistry, material science, physics, process engineering, chemical engineering or comparable qualification
  • Basic knowledge of battery materials and production processes
  • Experience in precise and responsible laboratory work with hazardous substances
  • Strong and collaborative team player
  • Common English skills
