Project Manager Procurement (all genders)

The mission hast started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The Purchasing unit is the interface to the supplier market and is thus responsible for a large part of the value creation. The responsibilities range from raw material purchasing to supplier management and plant purchasing to value engineering. 

• Representation of procurement in all necessary project committees
• Controlling of all necessary procurement processes as part of the product development process timely compliance with project milestones
• Tracking of deadlines and capacities for all new parts 
• Planning, tracking and applying for the procurement effort in the necessary committees
• Creating of presentations and decision templates of procurement issues and presentation in all necessary committees and project teams
• Determinating of measures for internal and external cost optimization and variant optimization
• Coordinating of A-B-C component prioritization with the departments
• Supporting and implementating of supplier reviews and commitment talks
• Participating and preparation of product exams, effort exams and pilot halls

• Completed technical/ university degree in the technical/ commercial field or a comparable Qualification or completed vocational training in the technical/ commercial area with corresponding additional qualification

• Advanced knowledge of the MS Office system (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)

• Business fluent knowledge of English

• High level of assertiveness, excellent communication skills and strong negotiating skills
