The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells. 

 

How you will CELLebrate

  • Contribute to our efforts of bringing our lithium-ion battery cells into mass production
  • Bring in your mechanical know-how to improve lithium-ion battery performance (safety, robustness, energy density and cost)
  • Take over the project planning and coordination of the interface between Development, Operations, Purchasing, Finance and Product Management
  • Implement and utilize project management tools and methodologies to track progress, report key metrics, and facilitate data-driven decision-making
  • Evaluate and select mechanical components for our future products based on customer requirements
  • Contribute to technical supplier management and release management of mechanical parts and components
  • Assessment of mechanical drawings and tolerances
 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • University degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, material science, or equivalent major
  • Professional experience with mechanical design and testing
  • 3+ years of experience with project management
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate tasks within interdisciplinary and international teams
  • Business fluent English language skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
 

What else can you bring

  • Several years of experience in industrial Li ion battery cell R&D
  • Familiar with 3D design and drafting
  • Familiar with mechanical testing and battery safety topics
  • In-depth knowledge in the field of battery components and battery cells
  • Working experience with automotive OEMs
