Who we are

Our mission has started. We are starting our own battery cell production in Battery Valley in Salzgitter and ramping up our headquarters for global cell production. The Strategy department is responsible for the development and implementation of the global PowerCo strategy. Responsibilities range from strategy development, market intelligence and business development to strategic partner management.

  
 
Your role and key responsibilities
  • Independently identifying, preparing, and executing new partnerships
  • Developing and evaluating business models, business cases, benchmarks, and scenario analyses
  • Managing complex international projects and interdisciplinary project teams
  • Negotiating contracts in alignment with relevant departments of PowerCo and the Volkswagen Group
  • Creating decision-making materials and communicating with top decision-makers at PowerCo and partner organizations
  
 
What you bring to the team
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or Law
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in a top-tier international strategy consultancy, audit firm (Big 4), investment bank, or a comparable corporate role
  • Proven track record in managing complex interdisciplinary projects with international partners; negotiation experience is a plus
  • Extensive expertise in preparing business models and business plans, as well as conducting benchmarking and scenario analyses; solid knowledge of IFRS is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and business fluency in both German and English
